I Live not To Far away and would Like to Come to a TC Bash,

Can we Run Nitros there or is it Best to Stick with the Elctrics?

Nitro Is the only things that runs of Mine as i only Have One Battery for the Elctric cars i Own so i could be Out of Action for a While if just Elctric,

Also Guess from the Above Post about FG it not just Tamiyas,

Only got a TT01 and its not Much Suited to the Offroad, []

Will be Getting an Offroad Tamiya soon, Well Mabey anyway,

Just a bit of gentle advise and not meaning to put a damper on anything: Clumber park in mid August will be very busy, lots of people and lots of young children all trying to enjoy the forest/park.

Nitros are not liked at all (I don't even like them myself) because of the noise. You may find you will be asked to leave or at least to stop running your car.

It is generally fine when nobody is around or when you run well away from heavily populated areas. But please be aware that the BBQ area (the normal place we meet) gets very busy. Nitros may be great fun but if they cause too many complaints it may ruin it for all of us as the Park may introduce a ban all radio controlled cars. The wardens have already expressed their concerns to us before over nitros - electrics don't cause any real concern however.

Just be aware that as well as the noise, a large nitro truck going at top speed can cause considerable injury to a young child. I'd recommend running on the large area that is 'logged' off on the other side of the BBQ area/tree line. Because it is 'logged' off you'll find it relatively clear of people and also the trees act to block some of the noise.

I may be there myself that weekend giving the Avante2001 a run before I sell it. Anybody interested in a heavily used and abused Avante2001 and a battered vanquish and loads of parts let me know and they can have a test drive while we are down there!

sounds like a good idea mud, i got my new buggy today, yey all built ready to be painted. i got to get me another esc cos the kit i bought didnt have one grrrrrrr. then it'll be full steam abuse in clumber lol

Yeah, a lot of people do bring a 12v battery so as to avoid flattening their 1/1 car battery!!
