I'm about to leave for the track - so it's time to put waterproof mtroniks esc's to the test! B)

After all the weather forecasts and low temperatures I think that all who attended had a great time. More of a mega photo shoot, but another enjoyable gathering of the Eastern Bashers.

I'm thinking that Red Lodge will be a complete quagmire at the moment, so i'm not suggesting a February bash, but does anyone want to pencil in a couple of future dates?

The last Sunday of the month seems to be popular, so how about the 29th of March? - British Summer Time officially begins at 2am, if we all believe that hard enough, the weather might be ok :rolleyes:

Also, how about the 26th of April? An alternative would be the Easter weekend ... I don't know about anyone else, but the chances of me being allowed out on Easter Sunday (12th of April) is negligible, but how about a Good Friday (10th April), or Saturday 11th bash?

Any of these dates sound good to me. It would be nice to get back to Red Lodge again.

How about a "Here comes the summer" bash on Sunday 29th of March and an "Easter Saturday" bash on Saturday 11th April?

Any more interest for the 29th March?

Just to complicate matters, the Australian GP will be on the telly 06:00 to 09:00, so how about a start time of 10:00 onwards? Thanks to the clocks going forward one hour at 02:00, after a couple of battery packs it'll feel like lunchtime ;)

Bring out your sheds!

I have a cunning plan - a "worst looking car" competition for the bash on the 29th of March - from what I remember, there are a couple of Lunchboxes that would beat my RC10 :D

The only condition I'd like to stipulate is that the car in question must be capable of running - there out to be some evidence of forward motion & some steering, no matter how grinding - at least at the start of the bash.

I don't imagine judging won't be anything formal, probably just a show of hands when it seems like about time.

I will fabricate a "suitable" trophy for the winner :D
