Ah, nomenclature confusion ... I interpreted/used "Christmas week" as shorthand for "the 3 days off between the 25th of December and New Years' day that aren't bank holidays" .... I'll finish at around 1100am on the 24th & start back on the 4th :)

Days I could do are therefore the 24th up to the 3rd - though I don't think I'd get away with coming to a bash of Christmas day itself :D

You need to get a lot of the old members who live in the area to come back and do a bash. They were fun when I was there. Also going thru thetford forest with crawlers was a blast too. You should try that with xc's and 3 speeds.

How about Easter? Or is that too short notice? :lol:

Easter Sunday usually ends up as family time, so how about Easter Monday (5th of April)?

Snetterton is free that weekend if we want some on-road action?

I went to Snetterton yesterday (not for Tamiya stuff) and looked at the track longingly - I fancy another go there :lol:

Not been for a while, plus i have just got a TRF415MSX cheaply that i'm gonna strip/clean/rebuild i want to throw that around the track.

Hello

Thought I'd get in on the MegaThread.

I'm in Ipswich so I'd probably attend the next one.

Only got 2 battery packs though at the moment, obviously I'd have to buy some more before attending....

Have a Pumkpin so I'm sure I could break that in one of the insane looking races you seem to have!

Also a TA02 Merc that I'd love to run on a track, M02 306 that should be fun and a Fox that I just got that needs some bits...oh and the Sonic Fighter...

And an Ansmann Master Smacker (that I broke at the weekend). Is that allowed (to bring it I mean, I know breaking it is mandatory!!)? :lol:

My Mrs is due on the 14th March so it would be nice to get a day in before then - I assume that the track is open on any day the shop is - so we could just all go one Saturday/Sunday for a few hours for a bit of fun. Sundays would mean tea/coffee/burgers available from the market traders too.

What about Sunday 21st or 28th February? After March I may not be allowed out so freely! :lol:

Hi Dave,

I have some old NiCds I am willing to give to a good cause - they are 2000mah so more than usable - they are fitted with PowerPole connectors though. (much better than tamiya plugs!)

I've just put a shiny new shell on my FF01, so I'm up for a track based bash - either of those dates would suit me, though the 28th would suit me better :)

Is anyone organising a "big" bash for the summer? Last August was great ;)

I believe a "Big Bash" at Snett is being looked into at the moment for around the same time as the last one.
