Due to meeces taking up residence in my engine bay (& letting all the coolant out by eating some of the hoses), I'll be getting a lift with Russ (thanks Russ ), we should be there about 1030.

I'm thinking it's going to be a good day to improve drifting skills - with a track that'll be very green and damp, if not wet, I'm thinking we won't have a choice in the matter, _anything_ will go sideways, whether you want it to or not. Including Globeliners Maybe I should take my Clod

Hello! How is everyone then, still breaking stuff and amassing more toys I hope?

So how often you lot got over to Red Lodge these days? Now the r/c weather's here I've been kicking up the dust with the E-storm and I'm gradually sorting the other cars out for me & the kids to play with so.......?

I'm having a bit of a clear out atm and all I'll have left is my E-Firestorm, Lunchbox, a TL-01 Focus and a Clod but that's enough for off-road malarky in my book - just gotta get some cells sorted!

Or has anyone got other Eastern Bash related plans?

Ok well Russ and I think it's about time we got EB running on a regular basis again.. [APPLAUSE] ..and have come up with a date for the first 2010 meeting; Sunday 23rd May - this should allow everyone plenty of time to re-arrange weddings, births, holidays, granny's funeral etc and get their batteries charged.

The more the merrier as they say so it would be nice to kick off the 2010 summer EB season with a good turn-out. ..and if you ain't there you'll regret it when you see the Lunchbox/Pumpkin racing photos plastered all over the TC homepage on the Sunday night! No doubt there will be some ramp lunacy and other of r/c car abuse, oh and if we're really lucky Jozza will turn up with his LED-encrusted Tamiyas - very cool!

I will send a global PM to all in the Eastern Bashers SIG of course

Hehe, here I am! Nice to see you're back Buzz. Now, the good news is that I will be coming to an Eastern Bash soon - the bad news is I can't make the 23rd . Pre-planned family stuff I can't get out of. But I'll keep an eye out for the next one and hopefully will be able to be there - hopefully there will be plenty more EB's during the season for me to come and break things at (talking of which, I must get some spares for the Ezilla, it's still broken from big-air last year at the Summer Snetterton meet!). I've still got most of my old line-up on the shelf, and they are all dying to get out for a bash soon, and I've got some more flashy lighty things planned for this year - the Monster Beetle hasn't got nearly enough lights IMO, so I'm going to add a few (?) more .

Hmmm... is there anyone in the Essex area could go check his story for me please? If you're discovered doing something mundane such as a BBQ in your garden or washing your car you'll be in trouble!!

Yes there will be as many EB's as people want really, Russ & I were thinking every 6 weeks or so to begin with but I'd like it every month eventually like the old days but we'll see what sort of interst there is. What I'd like to really put some effort into this year is to find a proper EB site, I'm concerned about being chucked off the Red Lodge site (oh btw leave your nitros at home!) plus I'd like to have a gazebo and tables etc, and somewhere where the public isn't! If any of you know or work for farmer around here then please sound him out re using a small bit of land ..or pass me or Russ the details so we can.

Well I'm gradually getting my badword together.. hold on what's this? a swear-monitor?? Cool! Right! umm... you badwording badworded badworder sonova badword! That's awesome I love it!

Anyway back to the cars, my new stick packs have arrived from Hong Kong so just got to 'Dean' them and that's me up and running again. The Clod's chassis didn't take long but the body's a bit of a nightmare but once the brake fluid has done it's stuff I'll get it glued and sprayed by the 23rd. Lunchbox is getting body mods too, it probably won't get new paint by EB but it will definately look different. Will try to get some electrics in the Focus but the E'storm is ready and waiting so plenty to play with I think.

Oh and I'll be bringing Dustbin with his King Silverfoot (you'll get it when you see it!) plus whatever else I can cobble together for him in time.
