There are a lot more members from the netherlands for example me :P I live in Flevoland LOL. Also MAXhilux lives in Holland. Dont really know why there wasn't a meeting but anyway i wouldn't be able to come because i dont have any transportation.

Maybe the dutch members could go beach racing/bashing at Scheviningen ore something like that.

Scheveningen is great, but I know that dunes are more interesting because of little bumps to jump over. Knowing this, I would recommend Katwijk an zee. I know a good place there in the dunes.

The place has sand and also a large plain area covered with grass. Ask Martin71, we were there already. It is not far away from a parking place too.

Oh, and for sure, there are many more members from the netherland and this is very good. I could not enumerate them all.

Best regards to all of you up there.

Someone called my name? I personally never really felt the need for a Dutch TC meet, I have plenty of friends living nearby (no TC members though) with who I enjoy this hobby with at times. And I don't have all day to play with my cars unlike some of the other members. [:)]

I would be interested in a Dutch TC meeting. Would be better for all if that was in the midle of the country. In Zeist there are a lot of nice places to drive!

Sorry for asking Sjoerd, I did not know that I would walk right into a wasp nest.[xx(] I always thought that you're a friendly guy and did not expect so much hostility here.

I always like meetings of genuine TC members. Other hobbyists mostly do not care about scalism or drive dumb monstertrucks. Some even don't put a shell on their cars. [:(]

HI all,

Why not? It seems fun to me! I still more enjoy driving my cars then showing them off (however there are of course cars I drive more then others LoL!). Don't mind the location Katwijk seems fun, but I will happily drive to the middle of the country!

Whoah guys, easy here! Don't take what I say as an hostile attack, it was not intended as such! Please don't get me wrong, I'm not getting personal here... [:0]

I was justing pointing out that

1) I am busy at times, my study and other hobbies take up a lot of time (am sure this goes for many of us), and

2) my occasional outs with friends lessen any 'need' for an event as such, as I already get plenty of Tamiya action as it is now. That's why I was never motivated to

Also, my friends are not dumb hobbiest and also find scale appearance more important than actual performance. And if there is a TC meet, I will gladly attend it if I could make it.

Sounds fun to me!! Katwijk sounds nice but the midle of the country sounds better to me personaly. i don't know who is known in that area? I've been there a couple of times and could go 'scout' for a nice area (sand/flat ground/bumps).

booinnnggg (falling into door :P )

Katwijk, same as any other costal places, nothing "special" ,

and with our climate i would strongly sugest looking for something away from the coast.

Or, even better, a indoor area, sporting hall , something like that.

I have already checked with my boss if it was possible for me to use his space but

in the near future there will be no opening/large free area.

There are nice area's plenty around where i live, but i don't know if everybody is willing

to come to my side of the country.

Would be nice & close for the belguim members, but if you are from groningen, it is one badword of

a drive.

If there is intrest in doing a meeting around here, i'll go off in the weekend and take some area-shots,

that is no problem.

If it is a +- 10 / 15 persons event, i would not mind hosting it at my house, but a larger group would mean

a bit of a overcrowding lol.

Well, easy for you to say.. If I look on the map above, Stefan lives in the sea.. Who can bring a submarine :P

The Hague sounds like a good idea although the idea of having an indoor event sounds good also. For me personaly, Zeeland is a pretty long drive.
