Honestly the best remedy for the stock clod shocks is to take one off. 4 shocks is plenty and with 4 shocks the truck has less of a tendency to "bounce steer" when bashing it.

Other than that associated big bores are nice for bashing, hot bodies are easy on the wallet and work well, if you have some old associated 3.5" gold shocks laying around they work well,

quick question but didnt want to make new topic

how does the engine block fit hood of the clod body ? i like it without the block on, and will there be a dip in the hood/body where the block would go?. if so need a good filler that i can use to fill it flat an flush with the body. and just decided on what paint have seen a few zebra style paint jobs so gonna go with a leopard print style [:P] **** been watching too many wildlife progs again [:o)]

thanx

the big intake thingy[?]

thats screwd into the body, but when you remove it it'll leave a big empty square in the middle of the bonnet

the clod has a line running from the front of the bonnet to the windscreen, so if you do any filler work this line needs to be continued, as the big square that the intake sits in cuts the line into 2 parts

or you could just fill the square over and sand away the line in the bonnet. [:P] either way its a fair little bit of work [;)]

ahh thanks Monster

will build up the center ridge with a few bits of masking tape filler and lots of fine sanding hopefully wont show after painted am thinking off making a fuel tank cap like on touring cars (1:1) with sticky foil i have seen this done on model plane fuslage so maybe able to convert it to car bodys [:D]
