Speaking of mud boggers , Ive been planing on building one . Ive cut material to make my own frame and just need to track down a drive line . I want to use a TXT1 type of drive line setup or something similar with solid axels front and back but with more of a buggy sised tire . Though I havent had any luck finding the parts I need and it would be more expensive than what I want to spend to buy the parts brand new , my "sortof" home built project is on hold for now [V] Anyways , this is what Im kind of shooting for look wise ....

i'm currently building a six wheeled king cab[:I]with 2 gearboxes and a clodbuster manual speed controller, at least with KC ball diffs it wont matter if theres a torque difference between motors cos they slip up far too easy, i thought a 12 double and a 27 stock should do it[:P][:P][:P]. joking aside, i was thinking along the lines of a pair of 27 turn stocks or even std 540's? also thought about some reduction boxes on 540's from maplins to give crawler sort of torque/power, what do you recon?. i have the chassis extensions made and both boxes mounted up, just a few teething problems to sort like 2nd shock mount to mount etc. then i just need 2 identical, cheap abs bodys to cut'n'shut, maybe my 2 NIB sand scorcher shells or perhaps a couple of lunch boxes[:P][:P]

Floyd, i think the bruiser axles are the way to go for realism, and you can get paddle tires to fit the bruiser wheels. but these axles wont take much power.

way to go would be jugg axles i think, with maybe an emaxx 2-speed tranny in the chassis(ive got one spare...nudge nudge wink wink ...)paddle tires are available for them wheels i think, and maybe use a monogram 1/8 hot rod kit to rob for the body etc.

would look ace!

The Bruiser axels would be great look wise but like you say I dont think they would hold up to the motors Im wanting to run , unfortunately [V]. Ive got the TXT1 setup stuck in my head for some reason so I never realy thought about useing the Jugg axels . I Emailed you about that emaxx tranny too . This should be a neat little project if I can get ahold of all the misc parts I need . It will be somewhat impractical , but then again I did put a 70' Cuda body on my mountaineer ( the Cuda'neer ) so Im a little bit goofy anyways [:P] lol

You could also try the tlt axles. I just got one a short while ago and they seem pretty stout. Also, i have a unimog somewhat in progress...well collecting the parts anyways [:)], and i just got a jugg 2 tranny for it and i will be utilizing knight hauler axles for the rear so both axles will drive. They too seem pretty strong. Now that i have the majority of the parts i will be trying to design a frame of some sorts to put it all together!
