Im glad Im not the only one to get rid of those silly looking lexan side pipes . Did the Cuda'neer give you any insperation for that ? It looks great , definately love your paint job . Kind of like the bigger brother to mine [:D]lol ....

Floyd, Cudaneer was a push, I'd had the shell for a while, but nothing to bolt it to.

I did have a Pro-Line Peterbilt reserved for the task, but it looked stupid, so the Charger got cut.

On yours, is the blower a seperate piece? Mine is molded into the hood and needs cutting off to remove - I woulda preferred the smooth hood on mine, dunno why HPI had to mess it all up.

As for the lexan pipes - GOTTA GO! they don't actually show pics on the HPI site with them on, musta learnt their lesson!

Yup , mine is molded in as a part of the body too , but it is inset into the hood a little bit so you can cut it out and use the stock air ram that came with it too . The air ram was molded with the blower scoop so the Cuda body lets you go with either the blower look or the more stock look to it ...

Ah ok - yours looks like a simpler cut job than the charger one, the shape of the hood plug on mine was quite strange (not straight or symmetrical), and looked a pain in the butt to do, so I didn't

Im suprised HPI didnt make it easier to cut it out on the Charger . Im kind of glad I didnt go with the Charger now , I allmost did . Definately going to be easier for me to stick that Parma Hemi in the Cuda than it would on the Charger . Once my camera recharges Ill get a closer pic of the hood so you can see the inset a little better . You can see it a little bit in the one pic there .

I can see it from the shape of the plug chap, the Charger one is a real stupid shape, that I couldn't see me cutting out right.

Also, the hood woulda had a funny shape outline in the middle of it, whereas the Cuda is at least symmetrical

The Charger plug doesn't act as anything else (yours is still a scoop of some descrtption, which I coulda lived with) so it woulda looked a bit funny

HPI only show one view without the blower, and it aint too easy to see the 'patch' in it;

Whereas the Cuda looks well passable;

Ack! Yah , I see what your saying with the pics . Oh well , all in all you still have an extreamly great looking setup [:D] I still like your paint job over my stock Cuda green ( ok its actualy Tamiya's Park Green but looks close enough to the stock Cuda color ).

Im with you on this Twinset . Its got to be a younger generation thing , that and those god awfull 22" and 24" wagon wheels all the little kiddies in the states seems to think looks good on thier cars . That has to be the ugliest thing Ive ever seen in my life , but thats just my own opinion , if its your thing and you like it , go for it . Just dont try and convince me it looks good :-) lol
