Hiya folks

I was wondering if any one has had any problems with RC4WD.

I ordered a aluminium twin battery wild dagger chassis (price had gone up from $125 to $175 but included a cage and steering arms) on the 6th Dec 04 to have it delivered when i was out in the states.

I got and email back saying just before i was leaving to say they were out of stock, it will be a week do you want your money back or have it delivered to you UK address at no extra charge so i jumped at the chance.

I was given a shipping number for when it was posted!!!!! but i am still waiting and now i am getting no reply from them. I left it over the chrismas period thinking they could be shut down, after the new year i have posted messages via there help desk page but i do not get any reply.

I check the shipping number to be told they have no recorded of it.

Has any one had any problems with them or got any idea.

I've used them lots of times and never had any problems, although they can be a bit slow replying to emails sometimes.

I send a message on the 20 Dec 04 for an up date, then asked again on the 6 Jan 05 but have not had any reply. I have now asked for up dates every couple of days.

I am still looking forward to getting the chassis, because i want to build my dagger.

(its nearly 6 weeks since i placed the order, if they sent me any email and said they had problems it will be this long it wouldn't be so bad).

I asked them about this chassis, as it doesn't show on their site anymore, I wondered if it was discontinued. Got a mail back after a long pause telling me that the shock towers were available, but no mention of the chassis.

I've heard good reports of them, I suggest that you keep contacting them until you get a good answer, be patient but persistent; it took them a fortnight to respond to my email posted via their help section though...

Hua's been through some tough stuff the last few months. The latest I heard of was his shipper up and left while Hua was out of the country on vacation. This was a couple months ago, but he hasn't recovered yet. Some of his practices bug me, so I doubt I'll be ordering from him anytime soon. A lot of people stand up for him, but lately, his CS has been in the crapper.

sorry to hear that he's been stiffed. it would been nice for an up date saying something, if he has a problem, and he cant get the chassis, well....... i would like my money back all $175 including postage total $200

Does any one have a number for him i might give him a call.

The first time i asked about the up date was the 20th dec 04 nearly a month ago, then from the 6th jan 05.

If he's shipping with USPS Parcel it can take a sweet time for the package to get to Europe...I had to wait for almost two month to get my TXT-1 from TowerHobbies when I choose Parcel...

Anyone know of an alternative source for the Ali Twin Detonator/Wild Dagger chassis though, I've hunted the www for one but can't find anywhere, and I was hoping to upgrade my Twin Det with this item for the summertime

The postage thing is that......... it hasn't been posted and when it is, it's priority postage.

I have looked all over the WEB for other chassis, RC4WDid="red"> does have a carbon one but that take 2 weeks to order "SPECIAL order".

All I wanted was the Ali chassis for my dagger because it looks smart and is different.............

Have to wait and see, does any one have an address for the company or anything and i might do some investigating id="red">.[8)]

When/if [xx(][8)]it turns up i will put some pictures on the site and let you know whats it like.....

The one i ordered is different to the pictures they had on their site, they put the price up $50 but said it included a cage and steering arms. (they didn't do the old chassis but hadn't updated their pictures)

It looks very similar to the other chassis but has the battery holder and body mounts.......[]id="red">

Around July?/04 purchased 2 sets of the 3spd tranny plugs, 2 sets of the rubber mounts for the shocks and 2 rear axle guards for 3spd. The plugs and rubber came very quick but the guards are in backorder as I was told and even offered a refund.

Told them I can wait...contacted them around Sept /04 still not in stock and they offered a refund....Dec.04 I asked about the order and request for a refund...heard nothing back..contacted RC4WD again in Jan/05 and to date still no reply...bit disappointed...

I have just received an email from pay-pal this week that my funds are in the process of being transferred back.. It takes about 8-days.[]

Did you pay by PAY-PAL if so email them and let them know whats happened and they could pester him.

When i asked for a refund he (RC4WD)id="blue"> was good, no questions asked he sent his apology's and started the refund process.

Send him another email.

I recently purchased 4 swamp dawg tires for my mountaineer from rc4wd, a few days later i had an email saying they had been shipped via airmail.

They havnt arrived yet but thought id let you know i have had confirmation of shipment.

Have you checked the tracking number to see if they have been shipped, I was given a number but when i checked WWW.USPS.COM they had no recorded of that number[V].

I asked RC4WDid="blue"> about the shipment and he said the number was for my ref... for when they were shipped [V].

This might hopefully put some people at ease. Its also been expressed on the RCMT forums about Hua's (RC4WD) customer service.

There has been 2 issues that I can make out that have caused some of the mentioned delays.

1, He has had the guys that were handling the shipping side walk out.
