Batteries wired in series with an MSC

Hi

Can I run 2 batteries wired in series with a stock MSC or do I need an expencive ESC.If i have to go for an ESC whats the best one to get (im on a fairly tight budget)

the car is a twin detonater.

Wiring in series will double the voltage to 14.4v so a MSC is unlikey to be handle that and about the only ESC that can is the Novak EVX from the E-Maxx.

If you are in the UK about £130 for the EVX if you can find somewhere that has it.

The one WC mentioned is a newer variation on the EVX and is quite a bit more expensive if I remember correctly.

you can run them in parallel (red to red and black to black) and plug it in. you will increase run time and keep the same battery voltage. go to

How are you planning to mount the two batteries? I have 2 TDs and would be intersted to know how you do it and how you get on!
