Hello mate - did you get anywhere with these motors? I may be after 3 for my next truck........

I've seen a few go on ebay many months ago but nothing since. I believe they are more or less standard motors other than the fact they are 55+ turns?

My LHS had an Eagle lathe motor in when I was back home, it was an open endbell 55t with removable brushes. I can't remember if it had bearings or not and it cost £25. I would therefore say you should be able to get your LHS to order a couple for you (I dare say mine would). Personally I wouldn't bother though as testing proved that it had much less torque than a Graupner Speed 600 Eco 7.2v which was half the price.

Yeah I checked Integy's site out and they've been out of stock for the last couple of months!!

Those Graupner motors need messing with to run in reverse don't they??

Graupner 600s have a 550 size (longer then the normal 540 size) so they have more torque then most 540s, my Graupner 600 speed feels more torquey then my 80T truck motor, but it is also faster (not so good for slow crwaling) and has higher consumption.

Cheers

I know several people has been trying to get hold of them, me included - as usual RC supply is c r a p here in Norway, so I'm looking for an easy place to order from, like the Integy site, where I also ordered the Matrix Pro from...

I think I've read that the LRP is a 80t motor?
