Couple on TNX questions.

I know the people most likely to answer but to save hassling them with PM's I will put it here instead!

Silly question but how do you clean you TNX after getting it dirty,I have taken to washing mine off in the shower being carfeul not to get the engine wet,as long as no water got inside the engine it would be okay geting the odd splash,yes?

Also when the 2nd gear engages should you hear it or just notice an increase in speed,I am getting serious speed but not hearing a change.

IF you can stand the fumes then use meths sprayed on from a spray bottle, this will get most of the gunge off with a quick wipe!!

Or give it a quick blast from a compressor to blow all the crud off.

My TNX when it shifts you can just hear a slight dip in revs and then it picks up again

Been out again since and this time I stayed clean!

The gears are changing it's just I was gunning it so quick at the start I just wasn't hearing it,starting slower and building up speed I could perceive the change.

I also shower the front and rear, just watching not too much water gets to the electronics and air filter, nitro engines don't let water inside, in any case I use after run oil.

When second gear kicks in you hear a short RPM drop which is very cool at big parking losts with buildings around as its sounds like a race car and you see an acceleration kick.
