Can anyone tell me which bodies are suitable for runner use on a Super Clod? I want something which will fit on the standard body posts so that I can swap from runner to queen shell without changing anything. Are the HPI bodies and other ones made for the T-Maxx/Savage trucks the right size/shape?

Parma do a lexan Clod Bod; http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXDA53&P=7

Never seen them here though

As for the other makes, the only thing I could see wrong with them would be the height of the sides and by the time you trim them, you probably lost half the side of the shell.

One other option would be body post extensions, a tube to fit over the existing posts, just to move the top up?

Thanks for that Andy, my LHS is pretty good at getting Parma bodies in so I might ask him about that one, I wasn't aware they did a Clod one.

I see what you mean about the others though, the mountings on the Savage look like they would be higher. I think I'll take the Super Clod into the model shop and have a trial fit of some of the shells they have there, there are quite a few variations on the truck theme with different heights and side depths.

ok, i know this is digging an ancient post up from the grave. i built up my last clod on a zilla 2 chassis, and ran a parma 57 chevy pickup body on it. fit great with the esp body mounts, which were meant for the stock hard body. i'd imagine with a little effort, most any pickup with a 10.5" wheelbase would work. parma's site list all the dimensions on most of their bodies.
