this is a link to the pic of my tlt-1. it show what i mean about ride hight

i need advice please have built the truck abut have noticed i only got just over an inch ride high from the chassis bottom to the floor. i followed the manual to the end but didnt fit the little parts (A4) onto the piston rods (BD4) of the shocks knowing it gives better articulation [:D]. is this ride high correct or have i not used the correct mesurements some where. aso have traxxas sliders too so gonna look at fitting them too.also has anyone adjusted the standard tie rods (chassis/axle) to gain extra length. i have looked thru the search but it does not realy answer my question there more on mods to tie rods and not adjusting original ones

sorry to be a pain again. i also sprayed my shell have done the bumpers in black and going for a metallic blue (ps16) or a white (ps1) i think the white will look better against the black of the bumpers

thanks

ok here we go i have worked out if i put the bottom arm brackest on the top of the axle and the top bracket behind the axle i can then fix the shocks to the chassis and loose the canti system, would you guys recomend this and will it give the truck mor articulaion at the moment it wont even stand with one wheel on a 100ml tamiya spray can without lifting the other front wheel of the ground [:(] gettint to the stage of leaving the thing as a shelf queen now [:(!]
