My £60 deal

Just wanted to show you guys my latest purchase. You may remember a little while back i said i was going to buy a hotshot and modified frog from a guy off "modelsports" forum but he had no picture. He finally got a camera and sent me this picture yesterday. I will have to take the gamble that he is trust worthy but at £60 the lot i think its worth the risk. (not sure if the ducks are included but you never know [] )

What do you guys think on 1st impressions? I know they may be any condtion but he assures me the hotshot has only seen the ground a few times. (Yeah, likely [] ) Still, fingers crossed!

Thats a good buy if it all comes true. The frog looks like it has a couple of nice hop ups. Shipping would be to high for live ducks.

Got it all today and they are great. He sent it before he got the cheque which is always nice. [] The hotshot is near mint, just a couple of scuffs on the bumper and a small dig on the rear cage and the wheels are flaking a little around the nuts (oh er [8)] )

Frog has srp shocks, front and rear bumper and wide skid plate as well as an original hump battery which works like a new one! No splits in shell.

The second hanset is new, still in the bag and box. And the spares are.. well, spare! Both cars had full acoms radio gear already installed which looked mint condition.

Nice manuals, just the odd oil mark inside but from the outside look mint. Plus a pile of paperwork with a Crp catalog which shows all the mods for the frog and others with prices. Also, his membership to Tamiyaclub (the original one) and one of those moco chan things as well as other leaflets.

Just have to clean off all the mess and they are ready to go. My best deal ever. []
