does anyone know if this TEU-101BK tamiya esc will run 2 stock 540`s

Hi,

I'm sure that it will melt if you tried running two motors off it, as the TEU-101BK can safely handle one 23 turn motor at the lowest. To work out how many turns an esc needs to be able to handle for two motors, just half the turns of one motor. So two stock 27 turns would need a 13 turn limit esc but that maybe cutting it close aswell.

So to your quesrtion it's a no.

The only way that will work is by running the motors in series. But that will lower the performance dramatically. Each motor will only get half the battery voltage. If wired in parallell I would agree with petrolhead.

thanx guys . i have a lrp bullet no limit too so i will use that,as i have 2 crawler chassis on there way over from the USA and was gonna use it in one of them ,shame really the tamiya was lying around in my spares box.

You could still use two 55T lathe motors or 80T truck puller motors in parallel, both very nice for crawling.
