Off road crawler

Not exactly a monster truck, but I want to create a replacement for my xc Pajero. It is meant for slow off road crawling in rock terrain. It will have same tyres as a stock Pajero/Jeep/Hummer ie the 88 mm BFG. This will of course limit the offroad capabilities, but also increase the challenge. I want it to have the close to stock truck look, will probably use a HPI Dodge pickup body for it.

I am not able to decide which chassis to go for, but I have thougt of the following:

TLT 1 with increased wheelbase. Does it take the BFG wheels? and how is the CG with the battery on top?

Wild Dagger chassis with short TL01 suspension. I kind of like the possibility to make it 4 wheel steer, but how is the twin motor layout in rough terrain, doesnt it act like a sort of open center diff? Btw I plan to lock both front and rear diff to get max traction.

TL 01 like that stadium "thing" (dont remember what it is called). It will need some sort of extra low gear, and it will be difficult to make 4 wheel steer?

Any other ideas will be appeciated (Tamiya of course).
