Ok, not 100% scratch as the axles are already built, with bumpers and servos in place.

Anyway, here's the good stuff [:D]

Here's how it comes, after removal from it's bag

Back later for more, gotta go build

You need psychiatric help Andy and I'm willing to help. Just send this kit to me - I think its just one too many for you and could push you over the edge.

I'm afraid it's too late for that fella

The manual

Comes as .jpgs and a PDF on a really nice CD, 20 odd pages though, so print it before opening all the bags

The only criticism is that it shows very little clod, it's more of a 'how to make it look like the photos or the assembled chassis on the website'

But it's good and clear, and apart from the missing axles, as good a quality as Tamiya I think

The bottom of the Top Deck

(The top view is even less interesting)

The Battery Tray (and anti roll bars)

Will try it with the roll bars first

The Top and Bottom Links

Mad big bits, get an M5 tap for the ball ends, it makes life a heckuva lot easier.

Got four of each done now.

Right, back to it

They're not overly heavy, still alu, so not a lot different to what I usually fit I guess.

Anyway.......

The balls were a bit troublesome to get into the ends without some help, and instead of a big hammer and a run-up, I got all gentle on them (after I put a few dents in the chopping board)

And here it is nearly finished.

Still have to wire up the motors, fit the speedo, find the receiver etc, and have to change the steering rods, but for an evenings work, it don't look too bad.

It didn't need the anti roll bars, as it is it's a bit stiff, but I hope it'll loosen up a bit with use.

Wheel/tire combo is temporary, whilst I like the tires, the rims aren't offset enough, and it all looks a bit narrow - anyone know of some big offset Maxx rims?

Will change the shocks for something more 'fitting' soon too.

Looks nothing short of godly. Is a Spider? I can never be entirely sure, especially with your projects. I'd happily sell plenty of organs to get me hands on a Dragoon, or any G-made rig I guess :)

Great stuff!

Sorry, yes, it's a Spider, but I can see where the confusion would arise [;)]

They are real pretty looking pieces of kit, and go together reeeeeeal nice
