Just noticed on my Clod, if I spin the rear wheels by hand, the fronts rotate, due to the rear motor acting like a generator

I think if I spun it hard enough I could get it to run forever (once I greased the bearings)

Just gotta wire up a battery charger to it now, and I'm rich!

That happens on the Twin Det and Dagger too! Amazing. Only problem now is that you can't patent it, cos you've told us. Haha. unless you want to share the booty of course [:D].

Right, I'm off to the shed now to refill my room temperature fusion cells [:P]

yea i noticed that on my clod a while back when i had it obn its side with one of the wheelsd off. i span one of the rear wheels just to listen to the gearbox, and noticed the hub at the front was rotating! for a second i thought ehh? then i realised the rear motor was generating a small current. it doesnt seem to do it in economy mode thow.

Yes, in economy mode it won't do it as the motors are switched in series so no closed circuit exists when there is no battery and the speed controller is at off position.

Cheers
