Hey guys, I just want to see what you've done to mod your trucks. So far I have a locked rear diff, cut tires, and a esc with a p2k2 pro motor. Thinking about joining Mr Pushrod with his large motor Pajero. After all, I am american so I have to stick the largest horsepower/torque motor into a small vehicle. [;)]

I done some modifications to mine. I still have some more ideas to try try on it though. The main showroom page for it is here: http://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom_model.a...id=7146&sid=311

I have some more pics when I test-fit bigger tires here: http://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom_model.a...d=34674&sid=311

I'm using a Radio Shack Mangler body (old Ford Bronco style). The tires I run on it are Losi Smashers on narrowed HPI SS rear wheels. The other tires are Imex Swamp Dawgs on slightly narrowed HPI SS rear wheels, but they rub too much to drive it with them on. I'm now using a Tekin Rebel ESC and a Multiplex Permax 600 motor (actually 550 size). I have a high-torque MG servo in it, which I relocated to be able to mount the body lower. I cut away quite a bit of the chassis already, but will probably not leave much more than the gearbox when I'm finally done. I'm using a Traxxas slider driveshaft, the rear diff is locked & the rear axle is attached with home-made links & supported by longer aluminum shocks attached to part of a shock tower I had lying around.

I definitely want some gear reduction, but that will have to wait until I can relocate the battery. I'm working on some rock rings for the wheels now & will probably add some weights inside the tires too. It's pretty top-heavy with that body on it & the raised servo doesn't help with the CG either.

Well I've got the aformentioned larger motor, a Graupner Speed 600 Eco 7.2v for fewer rpm and more torque;

I've changed the rear links to Traxxas balljoints and turnbuckles with longer Yokomo shocks (upper link is different at the moment and will soon change again);

I've cut the tyres for a little more bite;

Its got modified front suspension with the wishbones, c hubs and upper shock mount all getting attention to allow a longer shock;

Plus I have fitted uJs at the front to stop binding, locked both diffs, ballraced it and fitted an ESC so now it can do this;
