I bought mine from hobby-sports.com it was 19.49 plus shipping. Fast shipping too! 55t is more torque, better for rock crawling. Had to solder leads and capacitors on it.

THANKS ordered one from hobby-sports.com!

About how much slower will it be with the lathe motor than with the stock 540 motor?

THANKS

quite a bit beleive it or not..dont expect to break any speed records for sure!! When I got my bulu2 tlt it had a 540 in it. I ran it that way for a while before i put in the lathe just to see what kind of difference it made and it was very noticeable, to the better i should add. It ran waaaay longer, substantial more torque, and also it ran quieter,oh and the esc seemed to barely get warm!! I would highly recomend the lathe's for any crawler!!

Lets put the speed in context of when the average person is running, jogging, or walking. I would say my 20 turn motor was a good running pace, a stock motor just a bit slower between running and jogging. The 55t lathe motor will be walking speed. Of course these are rough ideas and will vary.
