aluminum hop-ups for wild willy 2?

i have been browsing the forums for a few days now and came across a picture of a wild willy 2 with what looks to be an aluminum chassis. it may just be the side rails painted:

is this an aluminum chassis? does anyone know where i could purchase these pieces? i have not been able to find any info as of yet.

any help would be great, thanks.

It MIGHT be off the chrome version of the WW2 but it doesn't look shiny enough,most likely painted but not alloy unless someone made it as a one-off.

i actually have the chrome edition at home and the chassis comes in all black.

looking at the picture i almost think that it's painted. i hope not, it would be nice to find an aluminum one. i doubt it would have any real benefits other than looking cool.

is the chassis a problem on the WW2? a piece of aluminum that big and thick will be heavy which would cut into the performance.

i don't think the willy goes fast enough to break a chassis. [] i doubt aluminum side rails would weigh much more than the stock set, they would hurt the wallet more than the performance i think.

i just want one for the looks, nothing more. i'm customizing my wild willy 2 to look my real jeep so the aluminum would be a nice touch.
