making the blackfoot faster

hi all, well im getting into my monster trucks again, i need more speed out of my king blackfoot, ive got a modified 21 double to fit and am going to get a esc, but can i change the pinion size, its running a ten at the mo. hope somebody knows their blackfoots. tia danny
