SJoerD 2 Posted September 9, 2002 Hmmm, I tried it as well and it doesn't work. It's because it's HTML, and this forum doesn't support is (maybe others do). Anyway, you'll have to use special forum language, but I haven't figured out how to make a link ON a picture. Maybe this will do for now: Check out my showroom: http://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom.asp?id=185 Hope it's usefull, but I'll be looking for a real solution to this problem. I'd be glad to help! Sjoerd Before I forget, you still can get me a Sand Scorcher? I certainly hope so...id=size1>
stulec52 48 Posted September 9, 2002 all you do is in your PROFILE enter what you want it to say, like mine says Stu, then if you want to display a link like I have done to a page, just write the web address as you would do in your browser bar, like... http://www.tamiyaclub.com/yournameETC id='Verdana'> Stu in Scotland http://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom.asp?id=

DJTheo 2 Posted September 9, 2002 You can add also a picture to your signature by using (img)enter here image URL(/img) and a picture with a link -banner/logo- by writing (url="enter here link URL")(img)enter here image URL(/img)(/url), using square [] brackets instead of the round () ones. For more check the FAQ http://www.tamiyaclub.com/forum/faq.asp Cheers Theo http://www.vintagetamiyarc.com/ Edited by - DJTheo on 09 Sep 2002 21:19:28 Edited by - DJTheo on 09 Sep 2002 21:22:
netsmithUK 484 Posted September 9, 2002 Just to go confirm what Theo has already explained - if you want a graphic which is a link to your showroom you just need to paste the following into your signature (url="http://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom.asp?id=x")(img)http://www.tamiyaclub.com/images/logo_member2.gif(/img)(/url) but replace the 'x' with your id number and the () brackets with [] brackets. raemin 0 Posted September 11, 2002 The only limit to our artistic signature design is the 255 car limit. The forum accept relative links, hence you may use (url="http:/showroom.asp?id=XXX") instead of (url="http://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom.asp?id=XXX") visit my replica traderoom id=size1>
TWINSET 1793 Posted September 17, 2002 Don't know if you guys got it sussed yet, but here's the text from my 'signature box' took me a fair while. {center}{url="http://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom.asp?id=169"}{img}http://www.tamiyaclub.com/images/logo_member2.gif{/img}{/url}{/center} The only thin you need to change is where it has ?id=169 in mine, you need to change to ?id=XXX - whatever it says when you check out your own member details All the '{' brackets need to be replaced by '[' brackets facing the right direction - {=[ }=], with no spaces. the {center} {/center} just puts it in the middle. EZLEDZ 0 Posted August 24, 2006 Anyone got onto http://photobucket.com/ You can pack photo's & video's there & It's free. You can go pro if you've the ££££. Even sets up a link for message boards, cut & paste into sigs. Easy when you know how. Only found out about this site recently. I think there's a mention somewhere on the forum about the size of image you are able to upload to TC so, keep em small or our dial up friends will be sitting there for ages, waiting for a page to open. ADMIN: If my image is too big, just let us know & i'll chop it. Cheers.
terry.sc 16 Posted August 24, 2006 Signature image size is in the club rules http://www.tamiyaclub.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=4 12. Please keep signature images under 200 x 100 pixels, anything else is too overpowering on the page, especially if you have several replies on the same page.(This figure is combined, so if you feature several items the total height and length will be taken. The numbers are the maximum for both height and length) You won't have a problem breaking the width rules though, the height is the important part. For a comparison my signature image is 200 pixels wide and only 50 pixels high.
