ordering from tamiya

hi all,i was told you can order direct from tamiya...now i know this is going to sound so stupid but how do you place an order[]? do they have it on there website[xx(]?do they have a phone number[8)]? im so confused![]lol[]

It may be the Stateside Headquarters that folks are referring to on this subject. TamiyaUSA's customer-service number is 1-800-826-4922. I may have called this number in the past to ask a question on a Tamiya kit I was building at the time. If they have a part on-hand, it gets sold at suggested retail price (MSRP) plus shipping.

As with most toll-free numbers published by a company, it's only available for calls within the United States and infrequently includes Canada.

For calls from Europe or Asia, it would likely get rerouted to an operator message stating the call can't go through.

Hi,

This can be done, i have ordered many parts for my XC vehicles as most is still avalable from Tamiya direct along with much other stuff. I order through my local shop Models in motion in the UK ( speak to Shaun ) it takes @ 6 weeks to get the stuff if you have the time. If you need specific details mail me direct.

Keep in mind that TamiyaUSA can sell you parts only at full list (retail) prices. So before you order from TamiyaUSA, you might want to check and see if Tower Hobbies has the part(s) you need. Tower usually sells Tamiya parts at 10% to 15% discount of list prices.
