hello,

just signed up today and this is my first post :) i've got back into RC cars after a long absence and i've got a couple of qustions you ppl might be able to answer. lji86's posts have answred a couple of them, but i was wondering what was the best way to set up the suspension on my 4wd buggy (Terra Conqueror #58115). is it better to have the rear set hard and the front set soft etc. etc.

thanks in advance.

When I raced 4wd buggies (Schumacher Bosscat, Schumacher cat2000 and a ttech predator) it was always the other way round heavier oil in the front than the rear and slightly stronger springs on the front, its a case of what you find best personally though but soft suspension on the front generally causes excess roll and a tendancy to dig in and grip roll.

Also it depends on what kind of terrain u r wanting to run on, if you are doing lots of jumps you will want to harden the suspension up all round to stop it bottoming out on landing[:D]

It is always nice to just take time out to experiment and see what feels best for your driving style as some like under steer and others oversteer[;)]

If you are jumping it alot i would recommend that u get a metal motor mount , as the plastic one's have a tendancy to break .

There are alot of hop ups still available for this kit , they are listed as manta ray hop ups . You can even turn it into a top force with the edition of a chassis set, take a look in my showroom under parts, there is one in there[:)]
