Just go to a sign makers and buy some. Probably you only need a small amount so they might even give you it for free!!!

Try and get some really thin stuff. They normaly have different types depending on where it will be used. Some stuff is very thick if it's for outside o a flat surface. If it needs to be moulded over many angles then it needs to be thinner.

If you go to a sign writers ask for spandex (dont worry they wont throw you out of the shop) I'ts a bit thinner than vynil but be warned it sticks like the proverbial to a blanket and will deform if you pull it off to re align, while your there it may be worth asking for paper aplication sheet too, which is like thin masking tape in a sheet.

I work in one adhesive factory called "MACtac". We produce many sorts of vinyls or industrials adhesive materials. You can find one vinyl called "MACfleet", it's easy to form with your finger and with one hair-dryer. We use in reality to cover german taxi or to apply one advert on planes, cars, trains, building,....

look in my showroom my special home made decals on my holiday buggy[;)]

I think you can find it in one specialist in apply lettering on car.
