Heya guys,

My bro's friend has a Monster Beetle with the above ESC(white/gold heatsink)... but the problem is when he pushes the throttlestick forward it goes in reverse (slower then going forward). And before you all go yelling "switch the reverse knob on the Tx"[;)][:P], its a old Grauphner tx without neutral/reverse switches. And the boy is only 12/13yrs old, so another Tx is out of the question...

Is there any way to setup the ESC as it has no Setup button nor leds?

In old ESCs you can't usually switch the direction, only adjust the values with some small potis, the only thing you could do then is switch (resolder) the 2 outter cables that go the forward throttlestick, the middle one remains unchanged.

Don't know if this applies to the graupner but on early acoms sets where I had this problem I simply undid the 4 screws holding the throttle stick in place, lift the stick out and rotate it 180 and screw it back in. This worked fine!

Is it possible to just swap the lead connections from ESC to motor?

I always messed up with motor connections and did it all the time. [8)] Gary
