How do you strip paint from Lexan bodies

I have an astute waitng to be restored but the body needs paint so how do you strip the decade old paint

i heard (on a HPI forum) that methenal alcohal works becouse stripers would melt plastic try it it shouldnt hurt

i painted a lexan shell in automotive paint in a hurry just for back yard bashing. not long ago i tryed nitro fuel to remove but didnt touch it so i gave up. depending on the type of paint/shell will determine the way it can be remove. i learnt my lesson so now i will buy tamiya paint

Try doing a search for "Lexan Stripping".

I used nitro fuel 2 dyas ago and I was not impressed, it has now made little mini cracks all over the Wing I tried to strip.
