I have RC racers deluxe from Sierra. It's a PC game. It is a really fun game. I also have RC revenge for PS2 which really sucks.

Hi,

I play Revolt, it is quite nice, with different types of RC-cars from buggies and flat-trackers to monsters. No familiar cars, but you interpret the one or another into it. I am not sure about the ranking of this game in comparison to others (Monster Madness, ...), since I normally prefer ego-shooters (Doom, Duke Nukem, Quake II, Serious Sam, ...)

Revolt is a funny little game:

The start

You can give your opponents a hard time with rockets ...

... or something like an EMP flash ...

you have also other weapons you can collect at the track, whenever you drive through a flash. There are iron balls, single rockets, triple rockets, sonic pulse, EMP flash for near cars, EMP flash for the whole track, mines and you can collect a self detonator (the buck in this game). You can drive through a neighbourhood scenery, a supermarket, a museum, a western town and a toy shop.

Hope this is intersting for you.

Regards, Martin

Their was a game out on the Dreamcast that you raced RC cars about, i did have it and it was pretty cool! cant really remember the name right now but i have had a look and there is a game out on the PS" called " RC Revenge Pro" here is the what the games about: "The ultimate action-packed racing game designed specifically for the PlayStation! Race remote-controlled toy cars AND boats around a theme park in four challenge courses. "

Yep Oli,

you are right, I was astonished [:0] about the layout of the buggy on your picture, but when I read Akklaim everything was clear.[:D]

Does your's feature the same things like mine, or are they different?

I only know a handfull of PS-games, since I never owned one (sorry kids, I was too old when it appeared), I joined a friend who played "Silent Hill" on his Playstation, does anybody know if this game ever existed for the PC?

The best I can do is in GTA3 Vice city, there is a radio controlled car race on one of the beaches.

Thought about rc revenge pro aswell, is it any good? but at the end of the day would rather be out side racing my cars.[:D]

I've heard about this and never found it, then last week I rolled my bf and thought oh no I'll have to nick that van by the track & hey presto! it's took me about 3 evenings to win & I think I only won $100[:(!]

Some years ago I used to play a game called " Funk-Flitzer " .

It came as full version game with a pc game-magazine.

I think this game was made by " sierra " . As i said in Germany it was called " Funk-Flitzer " , maybe the internatinal name was " big fun" [?]

I really enjoyed this game. It is a very simple game and the graphics and so on are not state of the art but I liked it [:P]

Now I will look for Sierra Rc Racers Deluxe 3d Ultra ;)

I saw a simulator like the Ripmax(?) R/C copter one but for cars, it's got a normal 2 channel radio unit which is adapted to plug into the PC. Didn't get to look at the software though, too busy looking at cars. It was in a model shop in Southend (Essex) called Fast and Furious (sorry, don't have any website address for it but they are probably in the yellow pages).

I've also played Revolt, which was okay, but dunno where you would get hold of that from as it's a few years old now.
