After running my pershing for a few weeks now, I might shed some light on your questions. They can't crush cars like a clod, they can't pull wheelies like a wild willy 2. They can't jump like a dyna storm, And they are slightly slower than a TA-04 with a 10 turn mod motor[;)]

But what they can do is put a smile on your face while you antagonize your dog by firing the machine gun and main gun at them. Due to their weight, they can climb fairly steep stuff. just this weekend I was running mine in a river bottom and it had no trouble in the sand.

If you do get a tank, buy the full option one with the MFU. Without the sound, the tank would be boring.

Those are both pretty cool. the use the same motors and gear boxes so I would imagine the speed would be similar. it all comes down to what you think looks best

Love the camo netting.

I am actually going for the sherman now as the king tiger was slightly out of my budget and the pershing was the same price as that one.

Any info...

No reply at all? [V]

I see there are a lot of different 380/400 motors available. Mtroniks do one listed at 12000rpm. Only £3.95 [:D] But do these slow rev motors have enough torque for a Tiger? The specs listed do not make it clear.

Guys,

I dont know what the true tank purists think about this, but my wife is getting me a 1/6 scale RC Stuart M5 tank for Christmas. It is made by 21st Century Toys, aka Ultimate Soldier. I looked at one the other night at a Wal Mart, and the thing is gigantic! It must weigh 30 pounds, and it costs 150.00. I saw a video of one, and it looks kick ***! I cant wait to see if it can be modified to take some high quality electronics. Anyways, my point is, it is one helluva rc tank for 150.00, and you could do some serious detailing if you wanted to. Anybody else seen, or own this?
