HI,

I have a no-limit ESC and it works really good. The brand is T2M.

The acceleration is a bit bumpy, but I have never driven it with MSC, so I don't know if that is different from stock.

But I believe a 15 turn limit ESC should also work.

Cheers

Thanks for that I'll check them out. Have you considered an ESP suspension upgrade? Longer wheelbase, oil shocks, realistic looking supension, but most of all it gets rid of the useless Tamiya setup which hardly moves at all! I'm fitting one to my Jugg soon so keep checking my showroom now and then. Cheers. [8D]

Hi i wouldnt recommend the novak evx i was running a clod on standard motors it went really well for a week http://www.tamiyaclub.com/moviecomment.asp?id=621&uid=2840 an then it blew up and it wasnt a used 1 it was a brand new 1 never been used and its power handling i seem to recall was 160amps dunno where he got 400amps maybe a dream world lol and also most 540 motors power handling is max 12volt if you run these it causes feedback to your evx esc as the output to the motors is 14.4volts

if you want to run stock motors an 1 battery i would recommend the novak super rooster but most unlimited turn speedos will handle it[:D]

Thanks for your help people! Sounds like I better get me a darn super rooster then [:)] I assume they are under £1,000,000 each yes?[:o)]

Just a bit under! lol! [:o)]

Tower Hobbies has them for $116.99 (at a rough guess about £65ish).

Probably cost a bit more in the Uk!

Ok, just done a quick google search and Cml has the super rooster listed at a staggering £135.99!!! [:(!]

We pay way over the top for things in the Uk! [:(!]

Check ebay I am sure there was a super rooster for £69.99 BIN price too, UK seller??. £135.99, that is crazy, you can get a top competition Novak GTX for £100(there 9.6V max I think or is it 8.4V?) But anyway, Novak products are top notch, I had a GT7 with my 19 turn motor, it was great, not a single flaw, then I got the Novak Brushless System, also great. Top quality, you pay a bit more but I can't fault them at all.

Thanks

James

It's rediculous isn't it? I could not believe the difference - and they wonder why we shop abroad? When I bought the brushless system for my T4 my favorite UK outlet quoted £185+P&P as their best price - I paid £135 for the same system AND two 3000mAh sticks including airmail from USA!![:P] Does the SR have BEC? I don't want to fry my RX!

Good price, I bought my Novak SS5800 system for £124.99, DMS had a sale on , lucky me got one. [:D]. Think they still have the SS5800 but at £160, still not a bad price.

thanks

Right, I found the guy who sold me the brushless system and just emailed him for a Super Rooster deal - I'll let you know his response. He's asking £35 for a normal Rooster by the way. Cheers, Buzz.[8D]

Well in both my TXT and my Jugg (and also my Mounty, i think),i am using the LRP Truck Digital reversible ESC´s.. I believe they can really take some abuse, and are also for the use in 12 volt models, such as Wedico trucks....

Sussex Model Centre are flogging them for £80 - would this be the one? http://www.sussex-model-centre.co.uk/LRP_S...ollers-1384.htm

I had an idea (my brain hurts now) that I could transplant my brushless system from the T4 and into the Jugg! I spoke to Charlie at Novak last night and he said they tested the SS5800 in various twin motor trucks and they worked fine! All he said was that I'll probably find the gearing needs lowering by 3 teeth or so because of the increased weight etc depending how I drive it. Other than that go for it! [:D] I think Novak deserve a medal for their technical help policy of not simply using the opertunity to flog me a new system! [8D]

im using a super rooster as well they take up to 2-15turn motors and 12v no problems, also a lrp F1 pro works well which can always be bought cheaper than a super rooster 2nd hand,i also run a tekin 610r on my jugg2 with 2 stock motors and theres no problem there, also you may want to consider the new novak hv maxx it does the lot and they are just a tad more then the super rooster.also avoid the evx as it can only run 2 batteries at the same time
