How does this speedo works

In a recent auction buy I bought a car with a Jamara Profi 40 II ESC. Does anyone knows how this thing exactly works? I have got it working, but I do not think the brake function is working (ie when I brake it just put in reverse). Anyone probably with an instruction sheet, so I can have a copy of it?

Some esc's dont have a break as such and do go straight to reverse, the speedmaster ultrastar for example. Jamara, hmm the only one I have ever seen came in a plane.

Jamara seems to be indeed more associated with planes but when I search with google on the make/type I get a couple of hits where it is been sold. There is also state that it has brake function. If not no problem but I want to know for sure

I use this ESC in my King Hauler. unfortunately I only have the German Instruction sheet. But this Speedo has no break setup, only if you pull it back from full forward to back, it stops for a short moment. I can only recommend this device for trucks.
