[:)]hi all.starting my first build (hornet) and enjoying it at the moment,dont know how long it will last.

seen some parts need greace.how should it be applied? alot? a little?

and do i need to realy work it in to the gears/shaft ect that come with the kit or again just a little?

Use grease very sparingly. If you use too much grease in the gearbox, the grease will just fly off the spinning gears and coat the inside of the gearbox. If you use too much grease outside the sealed gearbox, eg in suspension joints, it just tends to attract grit and dirt.

The kit grease should be ceramic grease, which is fine.

I'd also suggest replacing all the bushings in the car with a set of ball bearings, they're so cheap these days there's no reason not to have them. You'll need 9x 1150 and 1x 850.

Yes, and they also reduce wear and increase the life of the counter gear shaft and wheel axles, reduce friction so the car accelerates a little better and has an improved top speed, and gives you slightly longer run times.
