Its got to be the 959... everything about the real car, the chassis, the body, the decals etc is perfect. no other car comes close to its unique blend of realism (working lights on a lexan body), unique size (1/12), speed out of the box (technigold and full bearings)!

To be honest I can't pick any... [:I] Not because I am new but because I am in it for quite a while now (still have a full head of hair though [] ).

In terms of good memories the King Blackfoot is my very favourite car I own. Though I really like the Toyota Celica Gr.B, Mountaineer, Porsche 959, Sand Scorcher, Hilux 4x4, Fast Attack Vehicle, Willy's Wheeler, (in no particular order, and there's too many to list [] )

I also love the Porsche 911 Taisan/Starcard (TA-02SW), Rover Mini Cooper (normal AND Monte Carlo), all other 'classic' M-chassis, XC chassis cars seem very cool too, yes even the weird blue Nissan Calsonic Primera (FF-01)... This because these are the cars that were in my old RC guidebook. I must have read it a lot as I was very carefull with it and still read it to pieces! [8D]

I like some of my most favourite cars (as the KBF and Mini) more because I have actually seen them and own them, I can't really judge well from my own experience on the cars I have never owned/seen in real life.

no seriously I do love the scorcher but also lust after toyota 4x4 hilux, and since joining TC I've been quite taken by the Top Force Evolution. Oh yeah and 959.

The "usual" collector cars Sand scorcher , 959 im not so interested in. (have a SS) I traded away the 959 it just wasn't my taste.[|)]

BUT. IMO the Fox is the most beautiful car in my collection (thanks again Urban Warrior)[]

Of the scale cars, the Bruiser wins for me. Always liked the look of it.

For older buggies, I was always a fan of the Fox (2WD class) with the Frog a close second and the Super Shot (4WD class).

For modern buggies, the Egress.

It surely must be a 4wd. I vote for the Avante. IMO the most beautiful body on any buggy ever. Call it "over-engeneering" or what ever: the thing has tons of attitude.

Amazing to see the different views on this thread.

Strange no mention of the older simple cars - Holiday Buggy, Sand Rover, on to the grasshopper & hornet.

Personally, I always wanted a bruiser - but sold it as I was so disappointed. I think the 3 speeds are seriously over rated (why not simply buy a 1/14th truck??)

The one I have fondest memories of is the Wild One. Mainly because I raced it.

I recently bought a Terra Conqueror on recommendation, and with the carbon chassis I'm really impressed!!

But one day.....I'll own a NIB 959. & then I'll build it & want another one.....[]

The cars I like most are the ones that are in the Roughrider-Porsche 959 period!This is when Tamiya as well as r/c was at it's peak!The cars that stick out in my childhood memories the most are the Grasshopper,Hornet,Frog,Hotshot,Supershot ect!I was totally obsessed with these models when I was 12 years of age!My friends and I dreamed about these models,many of the kids had Hornets and Frogs as well!A single car I like most-Definately"The Frog"!!Just a legendery car at the time period that brought real R/C to the masses!
