Hi All

I have a nitro thunder RC car and am having problems with it. I have checked all batteries, fuel line and made sure i've not flooded the engine but i still cant get it to start. Could it be the glow plug and how would i know this. Sorry if it seems like a silly question but i'm new to RC cars only had mine a less than a week.

If anyone can help it would be apreciated.

It could be the glow plug, put it in the glow stick and check that is glows brightly.

Troubleshooting nitro's is a very tricky thing, especially for newbies. Best advice really is to talk face-to-face with someone who knows them well.

I find sometimes that on a brand new motor if you put a little bit of fuel directly in the motor & don't screw the glow plug in all the way then try & start it.Once its running stedily then tighten up the plug.Let me know what you think of the Thunder.I got one with the bigger wheels & pinions, etc,& man what blast to drive!

Do a search on google for glow plug mini howto. I remember finding there lotsd of precious tips. If you can't sort out your engine porblem, as a last resort, try cold plug / high nitro / richer than factory / lot of gas in the engine / plug unscrewed by 1 or to turn / fully charged plug batery / electric starter . And go from there
