i have just been given a team orion havok, 19 turn motor

but there are no wires on it can anyone tell me how i fit it to my car? the motor i have in the car at the moment is just a standarded with a green and yellow wire comming out of it, the green one plugs into a blue wire and the yellow into an orange wire the havok motor has a plus and minus sign on the back ???

please can anyone tell me what colours goes to what on the motor

look at the endbell, usually there's a + and - symbol to tell you which side is positive, and which one is negative.

For the stock mabuchi/johnson silver can closed endbell motor, green is - or ground/negative, and yellow is + or positive.

Remember to upgrade the motor harness to 14 gauge wires. The stock motor's tiny wires (about 18 or 16 gauge) will usually get fried at the amp draw the 19T motor generate.

If I remember correctly, Trinity still makes premade motor leads/wires that you can just plug in.

From what you said with the ESC, it seems they use orange for + and blue for - .
