Having spent just over a month racing my TB02 (twice a week) I finally think I am getting somewhere with the handling, any suggestions for things to try are welcome(please post your config if possible). With this configuration I am just reaching about a third of my way up the overall standings on my local clubs and keeping up with some of the main stream racing chassis's. I am now wondering on whats the next logical step, I obviously need some new radio gear and a better servo although I wouldnt say that is holding me back yet, my biggest problem seems to me to be a lack of acceleration when cornering. I've tried messing with the diff's and have two broken diff screws and a shattered thrust bearing to show for it :) If its going to cost a lot to bring this car to the next level perhaps its time for me to start looking at a new chassis, here's my setup :

Rear Springs Soft (Red)

Rear Stabilizer Soft (Red)

Front Springs Stiff (Blue)

Front Stabilizer Medium (Yellow)

Camber Approx 2 Degree's all round

About 1 Degree Front Toe-in

5mm Ground Clearance

Upgrades & Electrics :

Tyres Sorex 24's

Metal Motor Mount

Novak Cyclone Touring ESC

DakSpeed GP3300 Battery's

Acoms 27mhz Radio *Cough*

Futaba s3004 Servo

TA03 Super low friction dampers

Trinity P2-K2 motor

19-23t pinion with 58t spur

Alu' clamp on wheel hex's

I take it you are running the same spur / pinion set up as the top boys in your club so try foam tyres for more grip as you could be losing acceleration in wheelspin; other than that try adjustable chassis weights (double sided tape and bits of lead)to get a better weight distribution for the chassis

I tend to have a rear toe in of 4 degrees also

good luck Malcolm

Yes, similar gear ratio's..... How do you change the rear toe-in, I thought it could be only done on the tb-02 by buying different rear uprights?
