TA03F competitive?

I 'm pplanning on racing My newly acquired TA03F this winter and my question is before I do any Hop ups and mods would it be competitive enough against Losi xxx,Xray T1,assoc.TC3?track is small with lots of turns,19turns and stock motor only are the motors being used,and by the way its carpet.Just want to know before I throw in some of those green or just buy me a new Xray T1.

It won't be competitive if you're hoping to win the A-final.

It should be good enough to just enjoy racing with though.

I don't think it'll be competitive enough against those newer lighter cars.. but it may be worth a try.

well thanks for all your inputs,hey mr. tamiyadan when you say shve off the gear box which section do I need to section off,I will still try and add some hop ups and of course still race it,by the way I,ve got he carbon chassis.

Another question if you may,what abaout the TB02 would it be competetive with all the newer RC's?
