Well I have been down my local club now doin really well, nine wins out of 12 starts, problem being I have put some hop ups on my trusty TT-01, the normal ball race set, aluminium center prop shaft, bigger pinion on motor and spur gear, all was ok thing now even more competitive not losing to much for speed against the Xray's/Losi's but I put on some oil dampers made by GPM, they work lovely but the car wont grip how it did with just the spring shocks on and is sliding more easily do I need to change the springs or change the damper piston for the one with 3 holes in it, I feel like I have taken a step backwards.[:I] Help!!

Well I', glad, while ordering some hop ups for my tt-01 for next year when I start racing my sdad had a look at the GPM shocks but I decided to say no and wait till I have enough for the TRF shocks. Luckily I didn't order them. As for the car not gripping, add some spacers to get the car lower to the ground which may help it hug the carpet more.

found the problem was not the shocks just the wrong weight oil and worn out tyres, goes like a good 'un now with alot more grip
