Not yet, but I'm very excited to try them.

The Dark Mica Blue is the colour for the Knight Hauler however, and as such in the TS range and not a lexanpaint. Accordingly, it's TS-64 and not PS-64.

Good pickup, Miramar!!

Stole that off the R10 announcements... [}:)]

The PS-xx paints are catalog number 860xx.

That Dark Blue is 85064... so *must* be a TS.

Haha, Rainbow's made a mistake...! [:)]

Should be able to spray a coat of a translucent colour, then spray in the bright silver for a nice metallic colour effect. I'd be interested to see how it goes if anyone tries this.

The word "Frost" in the description made me excited about these paints from the first time I read about them right after this year's Shizuoka fair, expecting something new and special.

Today I got TMMI (Tamiya Model Magazine International), and there is a small pic of several Ferrari Modena bodies painted in these colours. All colours look nice, and the "candy" (translucent over silver) effect makes for a deep and shiny paint finish. Judging by the pic, there's no reason to expect anything that we haven't had with transparent/translucent polycarbonate paints from other companies for 20+ years though. [:(]

On the other hand, to get candy paints with the excellent Tamiya paint and spray nozzle quality will of course be nice.

Would be definitely better than Pactra cans... [V]

Ahh... paint cannot be airflown. Guess it would be about 2004 before the slow boat makes it over DownUnder from Shizouka. [:I]

Dit kan groot Str@nt veroorsaak.

Willy about the beers - It seems if the you Aussies come here - you get like Moses - motherless in the reeds. [;)] Same happens when we South Africans got to OZ. Thus both sides beers must be good!!![:D]
