TL01, TT01 confusion

I dont have any racing chassis - I would like to get one but I'm a bit confused by all the possibilities!

Is it possible to recommend a chassis for a road racer novice that only has monster trucks at the moment?

TT01 is a better chassis than the TL01, in fact the TL01 is now out of date.

It's a good chassis for beginners, but if you are serious about racing you will probably end up replacing it with a true race chassis pretty soon.

thnaks for that - do you mean start with a TT01 then adding hop-ups to get to a racing chassis, or are the racing chassis different again?

well, you can always upgrade the TT01, and it's a decent car for beginning racers. But when you weigh in the cost of the hop ups you may throw on it later on, it might be cheaper to just buy the last season's best/top of the line chassis and start off from there. Parts are still in abundance and many expert racers are giving them up for cheap so they can get to the newest bits.

As for upgrading the TT01... at least do the dampers, bearings, tyres. Other upgrades do improve the performance, however only by some small-ish margin.
