Or for around £33 get a Reedy Spec 19 turn Quad Mag, they produce some great power and can be geared lower than usual(larger pinion gear). RPM is somewhere around 34,000 - 36,000 , taking into acount they can be geared lower I'd say, your mate would be eaten alive. I had one in my F201 with speed tuned gears(ratio of 5.88) and it was fast on top seed and acceleration.

Get the Reedy with the flames on it. My friend just got one and took TQ the second race out with it and that was without breaking it in.

Yeah the reedy one with the flams is the Reedy 19 Quad Magnet Spec Modified, there great, racing in the UK they have been setting lap times almost equal to that of the 12 turn big boys. I remember seeing at my club a 19 turn powered car on the rear end of a 12 turn modified car for almost the whole race. The 19 turn can be geared very low, about 5.66(ish) whereas 12 - 10 turn motors need high rratios of around 7.70 etc. Also the 19 turn motor rev less which means less wear and less rebuilds and less costs. But get a pack of GP3300 cells, there great, good punch and run times. 4000 cells will be here upon us soon, so look out on ebay for a cheap pack of those maybe too??

I would also consider the V2 motors such as the Peak Dynasty. I have been racing one for a while and have found it to be extremely reliable with a good turn of speed.
