Want to upgrade my motor. help

I have a gravel hound which i have ball raced. I have a TEU-101BK speed controller. I know that i can only go down to a 23 turn motor but which one, and is there any other parts i need to fit before upgrade?? Do i fit something like the Super Stock Motor Type-R (23 Turn) 27000 RPM. Or the Super Stock Motor Type-s 26000 RPM.

I am new to this so sorry if this seems a bit basic to you lot.

With that ESC you can only go to a Sports Tuned motor, the super stocks will kill it.

Ok thanks. but what RPM can I go up to? Can anyone tell me what make and model will be best to fit with out upgrading my esc? to get best performance

A sport tuned motor gives more speed, and it isn't too expensive, so I think that is the best choice with that ESC.

Hello, i have a Rising Storm (Same as Gravel Hound but better looking Lol!). I am now aware how slow the BOG STD motor is. I have bought a no limit ESC and am now in need of some advice for a motor, and pinion advice to make it quicker (lot quicker!). I like acceleration, but also LOVE top speed. I want something that will pull and is quick top end that will nto rip my gears to pieces!. I have been told that an Orion or Trinity 14-2 or 14-3 will be perfect, is this really the case?
