Hi[:D]

I'm not exactly new to rc...but I have limited knowledge...

My problem is that I have a tamiya TB01 and my reedy fury motor overheats due to the 61T[:I]...my friend told me that this was because it is overgeared[V]....the gears that I bought to combat this were the 72T and the 88T...however, when I went to fit them, they did not fit onto my motor spur gear[V]...so to use these new gears that I have bought I will now have to buy a new motor spur gear...but can anyone tell me which ne out of these: http://www.modelsport.co.uk/?CallFunction=...tegoryID=301020 will fit? [;)]

Thanks![;)]

The gear that bolts onto the motor is called the pinion while the gears that you bought are called spur gears. You should find that you can adjust the position of the motor by using a different set of holes on the motor mount. I should imagine there would be instructions that came with the spur gears to tell you what holes to use, if not check the manual that came with the car.

I've tried many different combinations with the motor mount...the 88T spur gear is the closest match to the 61T...however he 72T is nowhere near fitting on to the motor pinion...besides...the gear pitch (I think thats what you call it) is far smaller on the 88T and 72T and they don't even mesh properly...so I will definately need to get more motor pinion gears...

Thanks
