Yep, I used to run a V12 Pug 205, and later a lexan Clio bodied V12.

Awesome fun. My local club ran a GTi class, basically V12's with modifications like 19t motors and 6 cells, and any chassis mods within the spirit of the rules (oil shocks on the rear pod, but no diff).

We run the occasional Mardave V12 heat at our club, and there's a club near me which runs them all the time. I think they are great, a lot cheaper than 1/10th touring cars and can be quite nippy if they are fitted with a 19T motor. Also, the competition is more about driver ability than size of wallet.

Yeah that's one of the things that appeal to me. The club near me runs them nearly stock with the exception that you can change a couple fo things like the kit motor to a RS540SH. Looks like an entire set-up inc batteries wold cost no more than £120 to be competitive. Think I'll have to pop along

Hi,

I used to race V12'S and really enjoyed it. the whole setup cost me around £80.00 to get started and spares where peanuts to buy but the best thing like Jozza said it's not about how big your wallet is or who has the fastest motor but the skill of the driver as hoop ups arn't allowed and all the models are the same.

My v12 racer is in my showroom so take a look and get down to that track you will be glad you did.

Lee.
