racing micros

Does anyone else do this? I'm getting ready to jump into the Micro racing pool and could use a few pointers. I have a Motek chassis RS4 with a Hitec 81 servo, acoms receiver, GP1100 batts, Ko Propo 1000FR esc, and a Beast Raptor motor. I'm running foams right now too with a nice Corvette shell. Wish me luck.

Well i am just about to start racing a Mini-Z, Got one yesterday after my boss got 6(all gone now) into the shop to see how they would sell aswell as the special Mini-Z track on friday, He set up the track and managed to sell 4 the same day as they arrived in(because of the track) and i sold 2 yesterday,and another two two have been ordered in(the things are selling like hotcakes) so there will be racing in the shop on wensday night.

Have already ordered a new body and upgrade parts, another thing to stop me from ever saving money[!]

You're lucky to have a track to race on. I've got some Mini-T and X-Mods, they are all fun, but I don't tend to use them as there's nowhere to race.. RS4 are definitely good though, so long as you can find someone to race against.

We had 6 racers last night. A few trucks and 3 RS4's and 1 M18. I killed my diff last night. How sad. Stupid Beast Raptor motor made me keep up with the brushless motors and kill my diff.
