Tried this int he classic forum but with no luck, though some of you older racers might know???

Are there any tamiya driveshafts with uJ's that would fit straight into a Hotshot?? or any others??

You'll have to try and find some modern ones that are the same size. uJs were unusual at the time of the Hotshot. Any hop up driveshafts just got rid of the 3 part dogbone and replaced it with a one piece dogbone.

You would also need to make sure the pivot in the uJ also lined up with the kingpins to make sure you don't have torque steer problems. If you want uJs to stop the drivshafts falling out you are using too much steering lock. Fitting an o-ring or 2 in the diff outputs to push the dogbone out will help keep it in place.
