Right, my car's sorted, my shell's sorted, and my radio gear is sorted, but what about my motor...?

My club runs 27T motors, and I intend sticking to the rules [8D]

I was invisaging running a silver can for a while until I got the hang of the car, but I think that I'll soon outgrow that.

My car's coming supplied with an Orion Core motor - a quality racer, BUT I realise that it will be too good for me to start.

I would like a cheap (sub £15) motor which I can run in it, and it'll be faster than the stock silver can.

Cheers.

You would be wasting your money on a £15 motor when you already have a stock motor to use. Stick to the Orion, there is no reason it is "too good" to start with.

If you have a transmitter with rates, set the throttle lower, or gear the car more for acceleration rather than top speed..
