Wow, looks like an impressive and well organized event! Very nice pics and some veeery interesting bodyshells! What type of cars do you guys drive the most?

We are doing rally events irregularly and on a less professional level than you, but I must say Rally events are my favourite ride! If you got the right cars, they combine best of many worlds: scale appearance, on- and offroad driving, powerslides, small jumps and in winter time you can even do snow races!

I've heard before that rally races are very popular in Czech republic or Poland, but sadly not here in Germany. Your pictures are an inspiration and I will show them to some people here to improve our occasional rally events.

Here are some pics from todays meeting, but that's a coincidence: these meetings are quite rare!

You're right in Czech republic are rally races very popular. I love rally[:D].

We use electric RC cars. Tamyia TT-O1, TL-01, TA 02, TA-04, TB-02, X-Ray T1, factory kit, Yokomo MR-4TC, Team Losi XXXS, Kyosho Alpha3

Most frequently X-Ray and Tamyia. Our championship have circa 30 participants. In Czech republic have been 3 championships but our is biggest.

Very nice!!![:D] I particularly like the way you have the same bodyshell on evey pair of cars to make it look like a team

P.S which chassis type performs best?

Lovely [^], it seems to me you Czechs have nicest and most fun RC car races, rally and truck trial http://mujweb.cz/zabava/fg-trial/ , unfortunately in west Europe the only thing that seems to be cared about is perfomance and times and RC racing is more limted to tourers and got as professional and boring as real F1... [:(]

Cheers

In my opinion the best chassis for Rally are TB-01. But in our championship the chassis was situated like this: 1. X-ray(modified for rally) 2. Yokomo MR-4TC 3. Kyosho EP PURE 10 4. TA - 04 etc. All the chassis have to be modified for hard conditions of Rally.

Do you have motor/battery limit's ore weight restrictions? Are you driving on snow in the winter? upp with rc rallying I say!

I cant wait to get my rally car[:D] Im getting an hpi sprint rally can any of you rally experts reccomend it[:D] It looks pretty good impreza body, interior dust cover, twin belt drive transmision, full ball bearings, oil shocks, pirreli replica rally tires e.t.c Im sure it will perform well as it was designed to be a rally car.[:D]

I have read somwhere in TC forum that the hpi should be really good. But I guess the rally chassie thing is a question about personal taste. You can probably be shure that your stock hpi will go faster than a stock TB01. But if you crash the two cars together, my guess is that TB01 will be the only one to survive. Also it's the question about looks. Tamiya makes the best looking body's. In my opinion a dust cover are not the same as a rally cockpit witch you are getting with the TB01. But offcourse you can fit all those things to your hpi, witch I have heard, are a really good car. Type "rally chassie" in the search engine in this forum and you will gett moore info than you can compare! I started of with Pure10Alphas some years ago, and I can't seem to shake it! I gott two EP1 with rear mounted motors. Not the best, but does the jobb well enough!

Avtually the dust cover is also an interior with drivers e.t.c and put on some road tires and youve a got a very nice racer! I think the TB-01 would be the best rally car for the hardest terrain and jumps but the hpi would SMOKE it on a light gravel, short grass, rough tarmac track mainly as it is belt drive (more efficent) and nearly half the weight!
